First Day of School

Maile started Kindergarten in Herriman where they have year round schedule so she started at the end of July. I was less than ready to send her off but she did great and loved every minute of it. Her teacher there was Miss Geisa. She was young and fresh and Maile thought she was pretty cool, not as cool as he pre-school teacher but still cool. She went for 3 1/2 weeks is all then was off track and when she went back on track we were moving. We have lots of great stories to remember from those short 3 weeks like Bernesto and his shiny shoes. :)

Her new teacher is Miss Howell at Lindon Elementary. She never skipped a beat when she started there. Miss Howell is a great teacher and I can tell she LOVES her job and her cute little students. Maile comes home everyday with a good story about her teacher and friends. Unfortunately, there is no Bernesto in Miss Howells kindergarten and no one that even compares, thank your lucky stars Miss Howell, he was interesting.
