Maile's scooter was stolen from our driveway yesterday. It was only out there less than 30 min. but someone took it. We looked around the neighborhood for it but I am sure it's gone. We had a talk about taking care of our stuff and making sure all of our toys make it into the garage. We also talked about how bad it is so steal and that if we wants to borrow something of someone else's stuff then we need to ask them.
Madalyn gave our prayer last night and this is how it went; Thank you for this day, thank you that we could go to the park, and not thank you for the person who did not ask politely if they could steal our scooter. Of course, the last part about the scooter was said with major emotion in her voice showing her deep disgust about the loss. :) It's a tough lesson but I hope the girls will keep take better care of their toys from now on.
